When I started this company, I did so to honor Bentley. I wanted to create a place where my friends and neighbors could learn about and buy the very best food, treats, and toys for their pets. I knew how confusing the giant pet food brands were making it for people to understand what they were actually feeding their pets, because I, myself, was confused. I also knew that there had to be something better out there for our furry family members.

 Tomorrow afternoon, Bentley’s Pet Stuff will be honored by Pet Product News as the 2016 Retailer of the Year. I am in shock.

We have been on a wild ride these past eight years, and I know that the next eight will bring on new adventures, but I wanted to take a minute to thank you, our loyal customers. I am truly grateful. The most rewarding part of my job is when I get to help members of the Bentley’s family like Angel, our first ever four-legged customer, to feel better and achieve great lives. Eight years later, Angel is still a member of our extended family. 

This award would not have been possible without two groups of people. First of all, you, our fantastic customers. Thank you for trusting us. We take your pets’ lives to heart, and promise to always, no matter what, make them our top priority. Secondly, this award goes out to each and every team member. Thank you for caring about our pet parents and their furry family members as much as Giovanni and I do. I am so grateful to each of you.
